Having spent many years in academia, achieving a PhD in Biology (Radiation Biology, Cytogenetics and Molecular Biology) and more recently acquiring the accolade of Fellow of Higher Education Academy, I have constantly felt the need to share my knowledge to assist younger students in taking their next step towards their career goals. In 2016 I decided to embark on a journey to help GCSE students develop their knowledge in the fields of Maths and Science. Since then, I have continued in my pursuit to teach 11-16 year olds from both Grammar and Public Schools the content and technique they need to achieve higher grades in these subjects.
I truly believe each individual has what it takes to achieve the grade they need. This often requires a different method of teaching and I aim to adapt my approach to suit the needs of my Tutees, ensuring they learn the subject at hand properly.

Having been a student not too long ago myself, I feel I am able to detach myself from the role of tutor and put myself in my student's shoes to help ensure we can get the most out of our learning time together. The positive feedback I have received from my past pupils helps me rest assured that all of my students will learn with ease and also have fun in the process.
