With a PhD in Biology specialising in Radiation Biology, Cytogenetics and Molecular Biology, and recognition as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, I have dedicated my career to supporting learners at every stage of their academic journey. Since 2016, I have been passionate about helping students build confidence and excel in Maths and Science across key stages from primary transitions to GCSEs, as well as guiding them through UCAS applications, 11+ preparation, and private school entrance exam preparation.
More recently, my role as a Faculty and Curriculum Manager has deepened my understanding of curriculum design and learner support, enabling me to help students reach their full potential and successfully progress to university.
I firmly believe that every student can achieve the grades they aim for, provided teaching is adapted to their individual learning style. By drawing on my own academic experiences, I empathise with the challenges students face and tailor my approach accordingly. This personalised method has empowered many of my students to boost their confidence, achieve strong GCSE results and develop the exam techniques needed for success. Beyond academics, I strive to make learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
